I’m so excited to share a blog about my closest friends Sarah and Kodi’s three amazing dogs - Gypsy, Fancy, and Oakley. Each one has such a unique personality, and together they make life in their home a whirlwind of love, laughter, and furry chaos.
Life with three very different dog personalities under one roof is never boring. In Sarah and Kodi’s home, chaos and charm come wrapped in fur, wiggly tails, and endless love. Every day is a new adventure with Gypsy, Fancy, and Oakley - three sisters who prove that family comes in all shapes, sizes, and snoring styles.
Gypsy Loretta Lynne York - our resident sock thief and dramatic howling queen is always up to something. If you can’t find your socks, check the corners of the house; she’s busy curating her personal “abstract art gallery.” When she’s not redecorating, Gypsy can be found glued to the window, silently stalking squirrels, and bunnies with the intensity of a seasoned wildlife detective. And wherever Gypsy goes, her loyal stuffed Snoopy is never far behind the perfect partner for heists, naps, and late-night sing-alongs.
Fancy Jo, affectionately nicknamed “Helen” Keller, may have been blind from birth, but she lives life with courage, confidence, and pure joy. Fancy doesn’t just find her way around - she leads with her heart. She’s the first to dive into couch cushions, the fastest to snatch up a treat, and the biggest sunshine-chaser you’ll ever meet. With Fancy around, every cuddle is a gentle reminder that love isn’t about what you see, but about what you feel.
And then there’s Oakley - loud, proud, and unapologetically bossy. Part corgi, part basset hound, and 100% personality, Oakley makes sure everyone knows who runs the house (spoiler: it’s her). Her snores rival a chainsaw, her rhino-like trots shake the floors, and her bunny hops add a touch of comedy to daily life. But beneath her tough-girl act, Oakley has the softest heart reminding everyone that being a leader is just another way of loving big.
Together, Gypsy, Fancy, and Oakley create a home that’s filled with chaos, comfort, and comedy. Socks go missing, pillows double as hide-and-seek arenas, and the soundtrack of snores plays on repeat. But at the heart of it all is a pack that turns every day into a memory worth treasuring.
