Orthopedic Memory Foam Dog Bed – XL with Bolsters & Washable Cover

My girl had TPLO surgery 2 years ago, a bed that allowed her a steady up and down and comfort was a must. This bed provides ALL the above. I attribute it to her continued healing. The memory foam perfect for standing up and lying down. The plush outer pillows provides a soft place for any pup to land. I had to return a Large bed I purchased, my heart was bummed, but my 75 pound Moose didn’t fit it in, glad I already have the XL. Size up for sure, and enjoy watching your dogs lay out like the Queen/Kings they are! <3

I waited too long to buy this bed! We've had it for a full year now, and it's still in great shape. The foam is still supportive and springs back fully, and the cover looks good despite having been washed multiple times. We have a 15-year-old lab mix who has sporadic night-time bladder leaks (sometimes more like floods), so having a washable cover and waterproof liner has been a godsend. Even the worst of his leaks have never gone through to the foam, and both cover and liner are a breeze to wash and come out looking good as new.The bed is also a hit with our cats and other dog, and it's large enough that two or more often share it. The cover is a heavy, sturdy weave, and it's held up well, though I can't speak to how it would perform with chewers or rough-housing pups. Our dogs are 40 and 30 pounds, so they definitely don't put as much wear on it as a large or oversize dog would, but honestly the cover and insides are such high quality, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this for my sister's 100-lb bully (he prefers the sofa, though, and who can blame him? He's practically a full-grown man).I hesitated for so long because of the price, but in reality I probably paid it twice over with having to buy lesser quality beds every few months, beds that couldn't be washed or didn't wash well or lacked support for an elderly fella's bones. It's a bit of an investment up front, but it really pays off when the cats projectile-vomit on it, or the old man's bladder loosens up a little too much, or the junior dog takes a luxurious nap in it after having rolled in something horrific outside.

Both the bolster and orthopedic pad zip into separate compartments and can be removed to wash the outer bed cover.I received the bed @ 6pm on Friday. I unrolled the orthopedic pad and positioned it 2 feet in front of a floor fan while laying the pad flat on top of the box the bed was shipped in. By 10 am, the pad had expanded fully and was ready to be inserted into the waterproof liner and then into the outer bed cover.My dog was excited and happy after trying it and feeling how comfortable it was.

7 years old and going strong, my #1 recommendation to friends who have dogs.I don't write many product reviews but this bed deserves one. I purchased two of these beds in 2018 for my pups (65 and 70 lb black labs) and they love them and I love how well made they are and how long they last. Over the years I have used them in living rooms, offices and ends of beds, my dogs love the bumper and cushion, constantly choosing it over other options. In 7 years of use I have noticed minimal color fading and cushion compression, I have had to mend one corner seam. Hint: to reduce washing of the bed I cover with a crib sheet which makes cleaning easier (picture included, I find the burts bees cotton sheets last the longest). I cant say enough about the quality!Highly recommend for anyone looking to invest in a.dog bed that will last and your dogs will love.
